Mark Plunkett

I have been teaching spin at several gyms in the WNY area for the past 7 years. I have Lifetime Spin Instructor certification through Mad Dog Athletics.

I love teaching spin because I enjoy providing people with workout experiences that help them reach and maintain their fitness goals.

Tina Phillips

My name is Christina(Tina) Phillips. I am a mother of three, and the proud grandma of two beautiful little girls. I earned a M.S. In education, and am a certified and licensed speech language pathologist. I discovered the joy of yoga 20 years ago while trying to get back in shape after the birth of my youngest child. I practiced using tapes in my living room in hopes of achieving the lean "yoga body" I had seen in magazines. I often fast forwarded through the relaxation and centering portions of the videos. It wasn't until I started taking classes at the Himalayan Institute, and couldn't hit the fast forward button, that I realized the many benefits that yoga provides not only in the physical body, but in our emotional and energetic bodies as well. I wanted to share my passion for yoga with others, so I enrolled in the teacher certification program, and became a certified instructor in 2012. Since then I have taught in a variety of settings including the Himalayan Institute, Amherst Center for Senior Services, chiropractic office, community education, and private sessions.I began cycling at World Gym 5 years ago, and immediately fell in love with the intensity and the energy the class provided. I decided to take the Instructor training through MADD DOG Athletics, when they offered a training fairly close to home. I have worked as a substitute instructor at World Gym since February of 2017.Aside from exercising, I enjoy camping, hiking, hopping on the back of my husbands Harley, and relaxing with family and friends, and morning walks with my bulldogs Beau, and Sophia. What a great and sloppy way to start the day.
